Adventure The play Cyrano de Bergerac was written by French playwright Edmond Rostand in 1897, filmed in numerous occasions, the film made by Jean Paul Rappeneau appears to be one of the most faithful adaptations of this work. Cyrano de Bergerac is beautifully set in seventeenth century France, during the heyday of Romanticism and the Thirty Years War, one of the heyday of France: Louis XIV and Cardinal Richelieu.

Characters The main character was inspired by the figure of Savinien Cyrano de Bergerac was born in Perigord in 1619. Synopsis

personal comment I chose this film because it is one of my favorites. The first time I saw her, I was so amazed that I spent several days writing the verses Roxanne in Cyrano recites the balcony scene. I learned and saw the movie again and again reciting.

I was always a very romantic person and I've waited a long time to appear in my life a Cyrano. Now I do not exist and even though rationally I realize that it is irrational to keep thinking that one day will, in me, stuck to my skin, are all stories, all movies, all the books in which the prince wonderful , the hero or the protagonist of the story wins the beautiful and out of his sleep, free from the evil villain, and carried her to live together happily ever after. In contrast to this idyllic fairy tale and also embedded under my skin is the message from my mother, that says that all men are bastards and that none are worth.

So in my life I've found with the tessitura to position themselves in an unreal world of supermen, or any other super villains.

Cyrano is a love story in which the protagonist gets the girl,

as it gets in the typical romantic stories. Cyrano makes an art of seduction and sex ... sex for is only part of the whole, not the end nor the means to conquer the Roxanne.
